Default How good is Energy S-10.3 to go with Yamaha RXV663

I have a yamaha rxv663, klipsch quinet 6 channel with a bigger klipsch center channel ( I can't remember the model). How good is energy s-10.3 to go with my set up?
Any kind of help is appriciated.

You would probably be better off to go with a Velodyne subwoofer they make some great subwoofers.

I actually have the same receiver with an energy system. My woofer is the 10.3

It does the job for the price, but obviously if you spend a little more you can get a little more, just like with anything. My only complaint is that the blue led light died just a week after getting it. I hear that alot of peoples light died early on.

For the same price as the Energy S10.3, you can buy the SVS PB12-NSD, a good 12 inch sub with a low cutoff spec f3 = 18 Hz (anechoic). The S10.3 f3 = 21 Hz.

I think a 12 inch sub is the better choice. SVS subs are among the best bang for the dollar.

Just a note...vanns.com has the Energy for $200 shipped which is an excellent deal. I don't think there are many good options at that price point.
