Default help me identify these games

I have a PS3 and PC. These are booth babes dressed up as game characters but I can't figure out the name of the games.

An action RPG maybe? Or fighting game?

RPG?

Are you seriously considering buying games based on the appearance of the booth babes?

Please tell me you're joking.

I like attractive characters in games (one reason I don't like Oblivion) but it's just one of many factors that make me buy a game. I choose which movies to see or buy the same way -- many factors.

These booth babe characters are interesting not b/c of their appearance but b/c of what they say about the game. The swords in the first pic look pretty cool and have a nice aesthetic that matches the character's outfits. The second pic sounds like it'd be a game with an interesting Oriental setting or plot -- maybe Assasin's Creed?

I don't think Assassin's Creed has an Oriental setting and I'm pretty sure it travels through time.

I can't even begin to describe how obtuse this reasoning is.

If you want to know what characters in a game look like, why not visit a site like GameTrailers.com, where you can actually see the game in motion?

This totally leaving aside the issue of visual appeal not mattering a bit to gameplay, but maybe that's not such a consideration for you.

I can't bloody well do that if I don't know what the name of the games are can I?

Attractive characters is just ONE element that makes me want to play. And it wasn't the attractiveness of the characters portrayed that drew me but the aesthetic like I mentioned and the interesting themes.

As I said, gameplay is a factor -- many factors just like for movies. You know if attractiveness didn't matter for movies then ugly fat people would be leads more often in Hollywood movies. Of course it matters (and games like DOAX would never sell either -- DOAX is the only reason I'd get another console, but there's no need to since you can find all the good stuff on Youtube and places like that)

I'm not the only one who has complained about the ugly NPCs in Oblivion .... look on the web, lots of guys complain about it (some will still play though for the gameplay).

I don't think the third one is anorexic at all. I would call her full figured but still very beautfiul.

Maybe it's the Conan game -- is that on PS3 or just on the PC?

Actually I think the third picture is promoting Custer's Revenge judging from the American Indian style clothing.

Based on the signature for luscious, I'm guessing he's taking a bit of a piss with this question, but I'll answer.

These women are not booth babes promoting various games. They are the maintenance staff at the convention center for this year's E3. Those aren't swords. They are Japanese screwdrivers. The middle pic isn't an Arabian princess. She's wearing a mask because she's about the clean the bathroom. I don't recall the name of the girl in the last pic, but I know she's about to run some Cat5.

I am surprised by the backlash here...
I've been playing games since I was 4 years old (1986, whipper-snappers) and aesthetics have ALWAYS been one of the primary reasons I play 1 game over another. Even if the game plays like ass, if it is so pretty and alive that it pulls you into the world and makes you want to see the next scene/town/castle/etc. then what's the problem?
Obviously multi-player games and action-oriented games need gameplay, but I won't play these ugly Gears of War style games where all the characters are these beefed up musclemen! Give me a game with smooth features, exotic locations/fashions, & a world that makes me want to call people over to look at.
