I just purchased a Pioneer KRP500 and I receive it on Thursday...can't wait!!
I just want to go over some details to make sure I break this in correct... I play either a dvd or the break in files from this site: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1053444 for 150 hour straight. During that period, I use the recommended settings mentioned above. After the 150 hour break in period is done, then I use the other settings listed on the front page. Now, after that, I am planning on calibratring it using this: http://www.controlcal.com/ does that sound good to everyone? Am I missing anything? Also, does anyone have what settings I should use for the calibration from controlcal? I will look on their site also. |
