In 2003, Evanescence released Fallen, one of the most decade-defining albums (and one of the most successful debut albums of all time) and have gone on to became one of the most well-loved & respected bands of their generation. The songs span Evanescence’s 20-year history to date, reinvented with a full orchestra over a deep electronic landscape. Synthesis is a soulful and sweepingly grandiose event to witness live. Seated at the piano, Amy Lee opens the set with a single note that builds into the instrumental Overture, seamlessly leading into the crushing wave that is Never Go Back. Bring Me To Life, the anthem that lead many people to discover Evanescence, reaches a new level of power and emotion with a pounding, electric heartbeat and soaring orchestral accompaniment, while songs like My Immortal, Lithium and Lost in Paradise evoke heartbreaking scenes from a beautiful, timeless film.

Amy Lee’s incredible vocal range and the group’s expressive, multi-layered music naturally lends itself to orchestral accompaniment, shining a light on the singular beauty of the arrangements by composer David Campbell and conducted by Susie Seiter -creating a truly dynamic, cinematic sound. Lee has called this, ‘a passion project’, which undoubtedly shines through. The sense of occasion is not lost on the band or audience alike in this unique and highly emotive show.

I agree! And I'm loving the collaborations with Lindsey Stirling too, Hi-Lo is an incredible song.

Here is the teaser for the Blu-Ray. Looks beautiful! I can't wait to watch this with blu quality picture and audio.

I don't know if only 5000 physical copies of the Blu-Ray/DVD were produced or what. It's possible the physical editions will be limited I guess since they are also releasing a digital version. Or maybe 5000 is only the amount allotted for preorders and there will still be plenty of copies sent out to stores, I really don't know.

Synthesis Live is now up for preorder on Amazon. The Blu-Ray version is listed as Limited Edition. Only $16.57 at the moment, which is a great deal especially if you have Prime but I already ordered through PledgeMusic lol.

All preorders are sold out on PledgeMusic but it looks like Amazon still has some of the CD/DVD copies left if anyone wants to grab one. Hard to tell how long they'll last with the limited quantity of these.

Appears AmazonUK has the blu-ray up for pre-order, doesn't look like it will be a limited release from there.

Were you able to order it at that price? I ordered a bit before you and it is still showing $19.98. Hopefully they price match after it ships.

Looks like the bluray/CD is back up on Amazon, still says Limited Edition though so who knows for how long. Thank you @ deltatauhobbit and Strapped4Cash for sharing other versions that are available! I wonder if the versions in the bluray cases will include the CD?

@richardsim7: I don't think Lindsey Stirling will appear (except for on the included Hi-Lo music video) because I don't think they started touring with her until this summer and they filmed the show for this last November. I agree with you though, Lindsey is awesome and I would've loved for Amy Lee's rendition of Lindsey's song "Shatter Me" to be included.

@blahsi: I ordered through PledgeMusic the day they put it up so I payed $19.98, but if you ordered through Amazon when it was $16.57 they should honor the price you originally bought it for. If they charge you the $19.98 I would contact them about it.

On a random note, did you guys see this? Amy Lee playing a prank on Lindsey Stirling by dressing up as Chewbacca on their last show of the tour. Hilarious!

Maybe you could print the artwork and put it in a bluray case? Would save you the trouble of importing.
