Interesting...

The first two were released by Disney, with only the first one getting a blu.

Pro-B any news on the second and third coming to the us or the second getting a blu release in the uk?

Hello kpkelley,

Unfortunately, as you noted above, the second and third installments are channeled through different distribs, and Disney isn't planning a BD release for the second film at the moment (US or UK).

We haven't even got Goal 2 in the states. If it was a popular american sport i'm sure it would be given the red carpet treatment. Not saying it's not popular in the states, it's just when you have several professional sports like we do over here some get pushed to the back. I love soccer (futbol, I have seen Green Street Hooligans) and played it most my life, before MLS started you couldn't really go past College, and unfortunately americans playing in other countries wasn't really happening.
All I can say is Thanks to World Cup 94 and the South American push, soccer/futbol is getting the recognition here that it deserves, but it still has a way to go. Done with my rant !!
How are the second and third installments in Goal?
The first one was good, light entertainment is how I shall put it, and the gameplay footage was alright. Still think Victory has the best single game in a movie, although Mean Machine and the Monk kind of kicked a**.

Am I correct in saying that this wasn't even released in the cinemas in England? I loved Goal 1 and 2 but didn't even hear about number 3 being released... Very strange. Also, I really don't understand why they release Goal 1 in USA and not over here in the U.K, and the region lock it, especially when Football is our biggest sport!!
