Default TIME magazine's top 25 Animated films of ALL TIME.

Please feel free to discuss, vent, shake your head, pound your fists, grit your teeth, laugh out loud or god forbid agree, with this most perplexing list brought to you by TIME magazine.

http://www.time.com/time/specials/pa...079152,00.html

EDIT:
The list is on Page 2 of this thread if you don't wish to click the link.

that list is all messed up. they should do a list for 3D animated and Hand drawn animated. Disney did more work in the early days with real animators...3D much as I love it..is easier to do.

Wall E? #2. NO WAY...

And where is the clone wars Digitally animated movie?

Time magazine used to be good.

Unusual, and highly subjective list. Wallace and Gromet over Akira? according to my subjectivity, this is not on!! . Wall.E was my first blu ray, and I was not disappointed, I got it on the fact that I wanted a demo disk to show off my wonderful new toy. Unfortunately, I find it has very poor replay value, It is hard to watch once the novelty factor wears off. Actually in a personal perspective on this matter since The Star Wars prequels, Ben Burtt's squeak and squeal sound design [Wall.E's voice for instance] is just a tad too distinctive and I find myself pulled out in this regard.

My top ten has 3 Miyazaki's in it . hahaha

5 tittles I appreciate

Princess Mononoke
Spirited Away
Naussica of the valley of the wind

Star Chaser: The legend of Orin

The land before Time.

likable but I don't think top 25 material tbh. Too Niche, where these movies listed have broad appeal from subject matter to narrative. imho.

Yeah, I undestand that...the clone wars movie was all over the place...politics, hard talk, complicated storylines..etc. It wasn't for everyone. Still, the clone wars animated series is the best of all time...

True. What about the transformers movie? the animated one? that one was incredible. Better than the live action...and what about the LOTRs version? pretty awsome too.

that list is probably just made to sell more cars 2 tickets. lol.

which im NOT gonna go see.

Just a list, mean's nothing in my view. Just because someone at Times claims these are the top 25 and they should be in this order does not make it so for me

Wall-E definitely worthy of number 2. Rest of the list is pretty jumbled and there are some very peculiar choices. (South Park movie, really?)

Pinocchio is the only one I have no problem with.

Ya, these lists are always subjective. I don't ever let it bother me none. However, I do like that they diversified it and didn't just keep it at American films.

Disagree.

However I do like Dumbo's spot.

Lion King or Beauty and the Beast should be #1 I think....

UP is also better then Wall-E.

The Incredibles is better then them both.
