Help me identify this movie!

I was watching Pulp Fiction the other day,when this other similar movie got stuck in my mind,here's what I remember about it,this film was from the mid 90's and had a cast of well known character actors,I cant remember any of the names though,It's full of essentric characters including a travelling vacuum cleaner salesman who kills all the people he visits,the other thing I remember is a showdown at a diner at the end of the film. Like I said it's kinda like Pulp Fiction. I saw the film on cable way back in the day.

I wonder if anyone can be of assistance with another film. There's a character who can identify any car just by hearing the engine. I think there's a part when a car drives by and he hears it out the window and ID's it.

Isn't that a Bud Light commercial?

The only thing that comes to mind is Gone in 60 Seconds, where Nic Cages character listens to a tape of an engine and identifies the make model and engine type.

I forgot about the Gone in 60 Seconds thing (haven't watched it in a while) maybe that is it. I don't recall seeing that Bud Light ad but it could be that as well.
