PS3 and Lost Season 2 problem - Blu-ray Forum

I bought Lost Season 2 new and looked at all the disks and they were fine, but when I went to play the episodes it froze up on the second episode when Kate was in the food closet and was going to open up the Apollo bar, I tried it again with the same result.

The only other time I have ever had a problem with a Blu ray disk in the PS3 was with a rented one and there were finger prints all over it. I washed the finger prints of with running water and it played fine.

I own a PS3, and that episode played fine for me.

I finished Season 1 the other day and watched that particular ep last night. I had no problems with it. Sounds like a faulty disk.

Well that is really wierd because I bought another Lost Season 2 today and it had the same problem with the same episode.

Give me the exact time and I'll check it out. It completely freezes up? Or does it freeze for a moment and then continue?

It might be your PS3, and not the blu-ray. I was watching with Season Play on, if that is of any helpful information.

I have the same problem but it's with Serenity. It plays on every blu-ray player but not on my PS3
