Hmmm... I'm confused by this thread.

The title suggests that the OP misspelled Transformers 2 by using "Transmorphers 2." In that case I would have pointed out the obvious and directed him to the appropriate threads that already exist for the upcoming release of the robtos in disguise sequel.

However, I then check the link that the OP provided, and became even more confused. The link provided doesn't lead to anything that has to do with a project called "Transmorphers" either. It leads to an article about a slasher film called The Hills Run Red.

God, I hate the Asylum. Leigh Scott, who did the first abomination called Transmorphers, is cool to talk too. He left the Asylum because of that film and he's doing his own stuff now.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I've heard about Asylum Films on numerous occasions. But, I have never seen any material that they have produced. For those unfamiliar with the production company, here's what they are all about.

Asylum films produces extremely low budget straight-to-DVD films within a 6-8 week time period that coincides with the theatrical release of a major blockbuster film. They clone the subject matter and title in order to dupe consumers in shopping malls via title association that the major blockbuster is already available on DVD. So, the average consumer will pick this up on the last week of June thinking that it is Transformers 2 for their home collection.

How ridiculous is that?!?!?!

I would love to be a fly on the wall when a parent tells their kid they picked up the new Transformers movie and hands this to them.

These are the same people who put out War of the Worlds 2: The Next Wave.

On the plus side I did find out what happened to half of Kid & Play from House Party fame. This one has Christopher "Kid" Reid.

I think it would have a lower rating than Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter and Poison Ivy: The Secret Society.

Come on, why does a movie have to have a 100 million dollar budget before anyone will watch it.

Transformers 2 was crap. Im sure this will be better.

It probably will be better than Transformers 2 but I am sure it'll still suck.
