Was watching friday the 13th the other night and every time it changed scenes the black levels changed pretty drastically. Going brighter every time. I have a ps3 hooked up via HDMI to a sony 52kdlv4100.
I know there is a setting on this t.v. that you can turn on to adjust the picture based on light output, but I triple checked and the feature isn't even on. I titled this "before I start investigating" because I just haven't had time to really try to find the cause of the problem. I want to say that this is the only disc I've seen it happen on but i swear I even noticed it happening on an entirely different set-up, up stairs with other movies. Any thoughts on this before I can investigate further this weekend. Thanks |
