No one had pictures. That's why the thread says first picture... It was a rumor since they found a new PS3 sku in the Best Buy System. Here is photo proof.

And it's not supposed to be released till tomorrow, as its in the ad...

Like I said; Best Buy always breaks the street date. For some reason they can't see that bright orange sticker that says, "DO NOT PUT OUT UNTIL 06/28/2009."

Actually Best Buy doesn't. As whoever sells it gets fired, and if an employee buys it they get fired. Mom and Pop stores are more notorious, and even Gamestop is more notorious for it.

(Anyways back on topic)

Looks nice. Just wish the price cut would come, as I need one for my parents. I already have 2. ( 1 for me, 1 for fiance.)

Actually, Best Buy does it all the time and they never do anything to the person that breaks the date. There's no punishment involved. That's why it happens so often and it does happen very often. Pisses me off.

I know how it works too. I've been in that department of retail for 4 years. It may not happen in your store, but it does happen a lot. How do you explain the first thread with the broken street date if it doesn't happen?

As for the topic, I'm not the one who brought up Best Buy. The original thread brought it up and then you mentioned how it wasn't supposed to be released until tomorrow. I'm just stating the obvious. Nowhere near off-topic.

The Street date is June 9th. The first ad for it is June 28th (from what I know, I haven't seen the ad). You could put it out, but most stores are going to hold them till the first ad, so customers don't get angry for running out, as it always happens.

No, I never knew it existed. I don't visit this site too often anymore. Yes i should have searched, but I really don't care. It takes 5 seconds for the mods to just merge them, if they want.
