Robert Downey Jr Rescues Extra on "Iron Man 2" Set - Blu-ray Forum

According to IrelandOnline, an extra on the set of the "Iron Man" sequel was injured during the filming of the movie, only to be saved by the star of the film, Robert Downey Jr. To explain what happened, we must talk about the scene, which could be considered a spoiler.

"Cameras kept cranking until Robert [Downey Jr], who wasn't in the scene, suddenly noticed one extra twisting in pain and moaning 'Help, I've broken something'," revealed a witness. "Robert charged into a live scene yelling, Cut! Cut! The extra was writhing on the ground in agony after a rampaging evil robot smashed him flat."

Downey called for paramedics and comforted the man until they arrived. The injured extra was taken to hospital, where he was diagnosed with a broken hip.

Well, that news was anti-climatic. He "rescued" the man by yelling, "cut!" Haha. He was probably just tired of doing the scene and saw and excuse to stop.

Seriously though, nice of him to stay by his side till help arrived.

Dude it says he wasn't even in the scene, he just saw what happened and did what he could to help. Nice to see Iron Man actually cares.

I loved it when he was making movies during prison breaks, but this is much better. Quick mind, took action...
