PS3 Day at Amazon (US) 6/22/09

Posted this in the Hot Deals section but I figured since it's all PS3 related I would post here as well. Wouldn't want anyone to miss out. Monday June 22nd the Gold Box and Lightning Deals will be all PS3 related items. Hopefully we'll see some good prices on recent releases.

Amazon is kicking off their Monday-only deals on Playstation 3 related products with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Game of the Year Edition for $28.98 as the Amazon Deal of the Day. This discount is good for 24 hours or when the allocation is depleted.

Last time Amazon had this, I picked up Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction for $29.99 before it hit Greatest Hits!

Yup, I got in on that same deal. Wasn't that the same day that they also had Uncharted as a Lightning Deal? That one sold out in minutes and I missed it.

Amazon Goldbox usually has some pretty good deals. We've bought Killzone 2 and Eternal Sonata from them...and one of the Wii Guitar Hero bundles which we used to trade(unopened) for 2 PS3 games(also unopened) at a $40 savings over retail!

Deal of the Day: COD4: Modern Warfare GOTY Edition $28.98

Sounds like the first Lightning Deal is for Wolverine. Possibly Ratchet and Clank again (Prepare for the Future). Not sure about the rest.

I'd probably get Wolverine if it was really cheap, from what I understand it's a pretty good game.

Fallout 3 I don't own either, I'd probably get that one too if the price is right.

It's a shame they're only doing 3rd party stuff, would be nice to see some of those sexy ps3 exclusives for sale for those who don't own them.

I paid full price and thought that it was worth it.

Therefore no matter what the price is, you won't be disappointed, great game (if you enjoy God of War-type games).

Fallout 3 is 1/2 off at best buy for the collectors edition so I wouldn't be surprised to see a half off tag on this site for the game as well.
