Well I've been searching for a solution...I have a Harmony 1100. I have converted my home theater from IR to RF. The idea I am thinking about is...getting a PS3IR-1000 and using that IR repeater on the unit and place an RF eye on that. So I can then control my PS3 with my Harmony and having full functions.
Has anyone tried something like this before? I definitely don't want to use line of sight (IR). not sure if there are any other options out there. Not sure if there will be a bigger delay since PS3IR-1000 connects to the PS3 via BT...then we use IR to send commands and in this case I have to use RF to send commands to the IR to convert commands to BT then to PS3. Reason why I opted to not use the Harmony adapter was because I didn't think I could get the RF eye to hit the Reapter due to the case design. After finding an article on it....looks like because of the case design...its not to picky were you place it. so that might be an option...cheaper one at that. Thoughts?
