'THE TERMINATOR' got one of the greatest preservation treatments in movie history.
I'm saying this because: 1- It was "inserted" into the National Registry of Films. It means they restored the footage, digitalized it in the best way possible and put the restored footage in their nuclear-proof, time-proof archive. Maximum preservation. 2- LOWRY already did a restoration in 2007-2009, they are waiting for Cameron to approve/modify (according to Ling). 3- The BLU RAY we got in 2006 is at least proper HD quality. |
