The guy on that forum had only 1 post-- being that one. That means one of two things:

1) He is a noob trying to start a fire.

2) He is legit, and was so excited that he decided to make an account just to tell people.

It would be great for me, I been looking for another BD player since I returned the Sony BDP 300 and I was gonna pick PS3 #2 for the bedroom and maybe another one for upstair loft.. Thats $200 saved and we get a net browser, upgradable HDD, and BD player all in one

I feel the same way. we move ours around between the family room, the kids upstairs playroom (we call it the loft) and the master bedroom when I want to play or watch movies. Be nice to have 2-3 of them, although the wife might kill me.

That's a pretty dumb attempt, if it's to freeze ps3 sales. He would have made it longer than "just wait two weeks" if that were the case.

Some guy confirmed it as a price drop, although he thinks its just Circuit City only. That and 5 free discs is a pretty good deal.

Oh well... time will tell.

The only people upset about it are those already owning one.

If this guy was to tear out the ad from the flyer and post it online BEFORE the flyer is to go on newstands..he could face HUGE penalties as well as the job being pulled from his employer. I work in the printing industry and my company prints sunday flyers as well.I know of a company that lost Walmart ($100 million account) completly due to someone posting a flyer on the internet before the flyer was due in stores...That person is now being sued by walmart. Don't post any ads online before the shipping date(s)...ever.
