Actor Harve Presnell dies of cancer at 75 (AP) - Blu-ray Forum

NEW YORK - Harve (HARHV) Presnell (prehs-NEHL')), whose booming baritone graced such Broadway musicals as "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" and "Annie," has died at the age of 75.

Presnell's agent Gregg Klein says the actor died Tuesday of pancreatic cancer at St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica, Calif.

Presnell also appeared in the film versions of "Molly Brown" and "Paint Your Wagon" as well as "Fargo."

This is crazy. Another actor died today 7/1 besides Karl Malden. They're dropping like flies.

That makes 8 celebrities died. Man, 2009's losing a lot of stars lately; Natasha Richardson, Michael Jackson, and now this guy. R.I.P.

I beleive he was also in Face/Off and Patch Adams . RIP Harve Presnell.

Aahhhhh dang.

His performance in Fargo will be discovered, enjoyed and passed down to new fans for generations to come. Just spot-on perfect.

Kinda looked like British actor Clive Swift of "Keeping Up Appearences" or Robert Altman!

Just remembered he played Gen. Marshall in Saving Private Ryan as well. His reading of Lincoln's letter really set the emotional tone of that movie. Another small, fantastic supporting performance that made a difference. The man had chops!
