I can only get one today so which do you all recommend Generation Kill or John Adams?

Well the main reason i asked i have seen neither. So it will be a complete blind buy! And i am getting either one for 26 bucks after price match and 20 rz coupon

Oh nice...well they're completely different shows lol. John Adams was really done well. The acting is superb. And you learn a lot of history.

GK is not on par with Band of Brothers...but it's close. Just a different war. They're both worthy of adding to the collection. A lot of people feel that GK doesn't have a lot of re-watch value.

I am a history fanatic thats why i have really been leaning towards John Adams but everyone talks about GK and i love Band of Brothers, obviously two different kinds of wars but i guess i will have to really think about it before i go to Best Buy today.

John Adams (based on my political beliefs and pre-conceived notions of Gen. Kill, since I haven't seen it)

It may take away merit from my recommendation, but since you're asking people who know nothing about your taste in movies, I guess it still counts
