The box set retails for $110 so that means for around $80 to $90 after store discounts, I technically get two movies free. That is the better deal in the long run.

Ya, I think I'm definitely going to get this. I hope they do it up right. Hero would be phenomenal if given the right treatment. I guess they all would really. Zatoichi's Cgi wouldn't transfer well in HD though.

Ya, no doubt. That'd be the only thing i'm concerned about. Unfortunately, I think this just might be a direct port upgraded to HD. I hope that's not the case though.

Looks like Ill need to keep the R2 and R3 DVDs so I don't lose all the extras that they have. Sigh. For that price they should include everything.

If I can get it somewhere for $75 during release week, I'll pick it up, that's less than $20 per movie, fair for catalog if you want it right away.

The Iron Monkey disc appears to be the Mirimax cut with the worlds worst subtitles. I believe this may be the only movie ever to create an entirely new plotline just from the subtitles. I bet it gets saddled with the american score instead of the original chinese one.
