Default What games should I get?

Ok, these games are on sale for less than $20 and I was wondering which two I should pick up.

- The Orange Box
- Dead Space
- Condemned 2
- Assassin's Creed 1

Keep in mind. I'm not a huge fan of RPG's (but "Fallout" is one of my favs), but I like shooters and adventure and some horror games ("Bioshock" did give me a few jolts and a great game) that aren't super linear and have lots of replay value to them.

Also, to play Assassin's Creed 2, must I play 1?

Thanks everyone.

Dead Space is the only title on that list that interests me but I consider it a MUST BUY/PLAY. The storyline is linear but it's not any more linear than Bioshock. Also, the production value is far far better.

I would say get the one you think you will have the most fun with.

I have both Xbox 360 and PS3.

Ok, well Dead Space sounds like a winner. Any other suggestions?

Lol I came in this thread to say Bioshock but you already have it, of the ones you listed I'd say Dead Space and Orange Box, but if you could I'd trade it OB for Burnout Paradise or MGS4 (saw it for $24.99 at my Best Buy)

Ok, well, I hear that Assassin's Creed 1 is quite tedious, but II is great, I'm thinking I'll just look up spoilers for part I.

And I think I want to get Dead Space...and possibly Orange Box and nobody is for Condemned 2? I loved the original!

The Orange Box is a classic.

Assassins Creed is awesome for the first 15 minutes, then you replay the same scenarios for the next ____ hours until you get tired of the monotony.

I was thinking Orange Box as well, but I've already played Half-Life 2 years ago so I don't know if I want to go through the whole thing again.

For anyone who has done this, is it worth it?

Get Dead Space. Also, Uncharted 1 isn't tedious at all. You should def at least rent it.

I think it's worth it. You could probably get a great deal on a used Orange Box.

Defo Dead Space. One of the best games I've played. I wouldn't bother with Assassin's Creed 1. You don't need to play the first one to play the second it just makes it a bit easier with the controls if you've played the first.

If your after a bargain and like FPS I got Unreal Tournament 3 for my nephew's xmas present only cost me £9 but I live in the UK.

I played both. The first one was getting stale after awhile as you kept going. The sequel has more variety, easier tool functions improved by a mile, and a twist that you'll either hate or love.

Condemned 2 gets a 10/10 and the original gets a 7/10.

I actually picked up Dead Space and will hopefully get to play it soon. Hope it's as scary and fun as everyone says it is.
