The first two films have decent transfers, the third is pretty good but not the best I've seen, and the last two (especially Phoenix) have reference-quality transfers IMHO.

Strange choice for a thread...

All agree that the last 2 releases are reference quality, I have to add my voice to that list as well. The first 2 look soft and could benefit from a remaster but I have to ask what about Goblet and Phoenix looks only "average" to you? Reference some scenes because this is an opinion I've never heard, Phoenix won a lot of Best of awards when it came out, such was the excellence of quality. I tend to think threads like this are meant to rile people up, in the vein of "The Dark Knight is overrated" etc. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for now but I need more than that small little opening sentence you gave.

They're HD DVD ports. As a result, they look average.
