Are you addicted to Blu-Ray or do you feel that your Blu-Ray buying habits are healthy. I myself spend almost every penny i have on Blus

Wow...I enjoy movies, and love they way they are presented in the format. Have bought pretty much everything I want, but in a healthy manner.

You always need to keep a proper perspective on things.

I think based on my income (as a student) and amount that has to go out, I am pretty addicted. I am holding off buying Blu-rays (bought 4 already this month) until January and feeding my 'addiction' with Christmas gifts.

from the time i started collecting, devided by the number of titles i have, i buy a movie every 2.5 days. yep im addicted

Just "Normal" now. Used to be addicted in the beginning a couple years ago. It was tough then too. Waiting for the next blu-ray title that you might want to purchase.

It took a good year or so before I didn't have to pick my jaw off the ground in amazment of the remarkable PQ and SQ, but it still gets me every time I put on a new disk.

My ratio is more like 1 BD every 3.2 days, so at the very least it's safe to say I really enjoy my blus. Is it an unheathy addiction? I don't think so, there's still food on the table.

Yeah, I'm addicted. Seeing as I don't have a steady job and Blu-ray is my major hobby, I need to keep myself from going overboard. It's rough.

I've always been a movie buff, but once I finally got a Hi-Def TV, it wasn't long before I bought a blu-ray player (ps3 for movies only, still love the 360 for games). I've been pretty lucky with some of my finds, a couple of pawn shops near me sell their's for $8 to $10, and recently they've had some really good titles come out. I can't wait for more to be released on the format.

I wouldn't say I was addicted because my collection is only small at the moment and I can't afford to buy many in a short space of time, but I always find myself saying things like "Oooh and that's on blu-ray... and that is" hehe

I spent 90% of my Christmas on Blu-Rays and a stand alone (Panny BD35) and I have to check Blu-Ray.com EVERY day (something my wife can't understand). So, if not addicted yet, I'm heading there.

like one of the above posters i used to be, but not anymore im lucky to buy a movie every few months now. I decided to just get the movies i really want because i only had enough room for about 76 blu rays and now my space is gone.

I think when it comes to the DSM IV-TR, I meet criteria for Blu-Abuse but not Blu-Dependence. Hehehe, I'm a grad student, can you tell???
