Well to be honest, their E3 conference could've used 3 hours to properly show everything. Maybe it will shake out like this...
1 hour dedicated to PSP 1 hour dedicated to PS3 titles 1 hour dedicated to PSN, Home, and other online services. |

3 hours? I can't wait. Luckily that is before my Vegas trip. I know I'll still be able to pay attention and remember what Sony announces.

I'm completely cynical but I see this as 1 hour devoted to PS2 games, 45 minutes devoted to the Wii rip-off device, 45 minutes devoted to videos we've already seen, and 30 minutes of stupid sales-speak statements about how the PS3 is positioned for success and doesn't actually need a price cut.
Oh, and how could I forget the last minute "big announcement" that they have signed a contract with Hannah Montana to secure the next HM game as exclusive. Last edited by Terjyn; 07-17-2009 at 01:21 PM. |

I think you make some good points, but certainly there are many who prefer a free service. Particularly those like myself who do not use any voice-type features with our console.

Don't know what you are smoking Patron Saint, but PS3 has in game chat (Voice and text), party system, and video conferencing, oh and the PS3 junk browser how does that compare to XBox's browser?
Someone trying to represent themselves as PS3 user and calling the Xbox a junkbox is obvioulsy just another fanboy in hiding.. |

You know for all *****ing everyone does about Home, my wife loves it! She spends more hours in Home than she does playing games. She likes socializing and she like the bowling and pool games in the arcade. People shouldn't think that just because THEY dont' like something, doesn't mean that nobody does.

The fact that they crank out cheap games across multiple platforms isn't what I meant by "exclusive".

I'll one up you. My friends and I use chat on a PC, and we can (and do) *cross console* chat! Clearly the Xbox Live service is utter crap because it can't do that. |

I will gladly take PSN and all of it's "limitations" for free over paying 50.00 a year for Live gold. Last edited by Steelmaker; 07-17-2009 at 03:09 PM. |
