I don't think two movies is commonly considered a "collection"!

More like a double feature.

There's only two Count Yorga films in this franchise, so in that sense it's perfectly acceptable to say it's the Count Yorga Collection.

Thumbs up

That's how you do it. Much better than having to buy them separately. Hopefully they do the same with Blackula. Will this be UHD, or BD only?

That would have been a nice inclusion. But since it's not MGM, and not an official sequel, I'm not surprised it's not included.

You wouldn't know it from watching it at home but the trailer for Count Yorga is the most unintentionally hilarious trailer ever made. I caught it years ago during a horror marathon and the theater just roared with laughter every time the trailer cut to Yorga running in slow motion towards the camera. There was just something about the editing that made it seem so funny. The films have their campy elements but nothing like what the trailer elicits. I don't think I ever laughed so hard in a theater.

Blacula was licensed to Eureka in the UK and their disc appears to be still in stock, so not sure Arrow can do this now. I don't think Eureka has thus far released any revised blu-rays.

On an aside, for the people arguing name semantics Eureka calls their two film set as Blacula - The Complete Collection

Robert Quarry's acting performance in both movies is probably my favorite of any arch-vampire (even though vampires are far from my favorite horror movie subjects). I love his expressions and when he struggles to maintain his composure when humans try his patience (ex. during the unwanted house guest scene in the first movie and the school gathering in the second). And, of course, the Quarry Charge is classic!

Agree completely. Quarry's wonderful in both films. And of course he's magnificent as Vincent Price's arch-enemy Darius Biederbeck in "Dr. Phibes Rises Again". His presence is one of the main reasons I like the second Phibes movie even better than the (sensational) first one.
Wish this actor had been given more good roles. Could have joined Cushing, Lee and Price as a top horror icon.

I purchased the collection for 5GBP during one of the Arrow sales. Granted both movies came in the same case and it wasn’t from a 4k scan but I’ll hold on to them at that price. I’ll save my box and cardboard spending for VS

Yeah, the way he delivers his lines to the kid playing piano is pure gold.

Not to beat a dead horse but...

A "Collection" is commonly defined as "a group of things" therefore two movies in a single package can be considered a "collection".

Arrow’s original Yorga two-fer from 2016 was also called The Count Yorga Collection.

Never seen these, but bought it. Not a fan of the art though, so wonder what the reverse art will look like.

These are very good films, DukeTogo84, though I enjoy the first one significantly more than the sequel. Call me crazy, but the first Yorga is, to my mind, on a par with Daughters Of Darkness. Immensely enjoyable, and occasionally very funny.

I wish this were a 4K disc release.

I don’t care what anyone says. I’ve seen horror flicks my entire life and these are scary films. I don’t find them funny or campy. They are played dead serious and deliver solid chills for most of their entire running times.

The attack sequence to the family in the sequel is horrifying 💀
