Hi,
My 60GB PS3 is wired to an Apple Airport Express and the connection seems slow. I don't think it's a PS3 problem but rather just the router needs some settings adjusted or maybe I could use a newer router. Anyone know where I should start to try to improve ethernet performance? ..? -Brian |

basically what opening the DMZ port will do is take your chosen device out from behind the firewall. Not recommended for say your every day use pc or mac but i have chosen to open the dmz port for the PS3 and is generally considered okay for gaming.
I know it will not be to everyone's taste, because of security issues, however i think the chance that my PS3 will be attacked is very small. |
