Default My Little Home Theater Setup

My little home theater is complete (for now).

Put a couple pics in an album for those interested. A lot of peeps here replied to my MANY questions and I thank you.

Before I get dinged on the Sleepless in Seattle poster, here's the story. 10 years ago when I FIRST was running the home theater set up by the 'ol wifey, she wasn't to keen on it...wasn't a NO, but not thrilled. SO, I got her a Sleepless in Seattle poster for the HT room. Now she loves it. In fact, SHE talked me into stepping up from the LG 60inch plasma to the Panasonic 65VT25.

I love it when a plan comes together.

Anyway, for those interested, take a look at my couple pics I posted. Will add more in days to come. And thanks again for all the help on this forum!!!

You have some nice gear, as those Axioms coupled with the SVS sub must give you some nice sonic love. By the way, what type of receiver/processor do you have?

I assume the 808 is related to the 805 from a couple of years ago? That thing was a beast, but an incredible performer. You really have put together some nice stuff....have you thought about getting into seperates and get an external amp and use the 808 as a pre/pro?

Every single day. For now, due to lack of space, going to stick w/ what I have, but was definately in my decision to go w/ a receiver w/ pre-outs for when I get stricken w/ Upgraditis in the future.

You are smarter than I was, my first receiver didn't have them, as I didn't ever think I would want them.... Needless to say, my opinion changed.....and then some.

Yeah, once I get bit w/ that bug, I'll start researching / inquiring on what type of amps I'd need, but for now, I have enough on my plate.

BUT, while we're talking about amps. I have zone 2 and zone 3 preouts that I wouldn't mind utilizing now for 3 pair of outdoor rock speakers. I don't need to go overboard w/ them since I am in a neighboorhood and don't crank them, would just wonder if I'd benefit going w/ seperates for them instead of going w/ the powered zone 2 and a Niles speaker selector.

I have a pair of rock speakers on my deck that I power with my Yamaha but I do want to add an amp to them. Doubt this helps at all.
