Do you have a optical or RCA digital audio input on your HTiB?

Do you not have the cable or do you not have the input on your HTiB?

If you don't have the cable then buy whichever you need.

If you don't have the input you're likely SOL.

With Watchmen, you should be getting the DTS 5.1 core track. Make sure, on the player, you set your optical output to bitstream.

On the Blu-ray player (make sure the disc is stopped), go into the setup menu and go to the audio options. There should be an option for the digital optical output. You can choose between bitstream or PCM, but you'll want bitstream.

Not for every movie. Just this one time and you'll be getting 5.1 surround sound, but it won't be HD.

DTS. I just checked the manual and there's no option for bitstream. You don't want to choose downmix unless your sound system can't decode DTS. On your home theater system, is there a DTS logo on it?

Also, as I was going through the manual, I noticed the Audio Output Priority. Set the priority to Coaxial/Optical.
