INDY on BLU??? - Blu-ray Forum

Is it still possible to get a Indiana Jones Trilogy on Blu Ray announcement for November or does that seem impossible, because im debating on either getting the Ninja Turtles Collection or Indiana Jones Trilogy, but still no anouncement for Indy??

Well Ninja Turtles collection is for sure coming this year but as for Indy it could be like Christmas or even later. Best bet is the TMNT set.

When they put out Crystal Skull, they greatly confused consumers with an ad campaign that said "Complete your collection on DVD and Blu-Ray!" It should have said "Complete your collection on DVD! Kingdom of the Crystal Skull also available on Blu-Ray!"

But yeah, I read they were planning on releasing the trilogy on Blu with Crystal Skull, but aborted this plan to do a better mastering job. That Lucas press release said Fall 09, but yeah, the generally-regarded facts are that they pushed it back to next year.

Any reason for the delay? I expect many people are looking forward to Indy on blu-ray and I am one of them.

Next year's going to be great. Indy, Alien, and Back to the Future. Expensive holiday season next year, for sure.
