Prison Break Season 4

Does anyone have any knowledge on when Fox is going to release season 4 on bluray? I'm not buying the dvd set I have all the eps in 720p downloads so I can wait. But I don't understand the bullshit strategy.This was one of the early Bluray TV releases...I just don't understand same with To Live And Die With L.A.,thats been cancelled according to amazon...

When does Season 2 come out? I only have Season 1, and NOT buying Season 3, until I have Season 2. And I am not letting them double dip on me, from buying Season 2 on DVD first.

I have a horrible suspicion that a lot of people skipped buying 3 because 2 hadn't yet been released, and because of low sales for 3, we won't be seeing any more blu releases of prison break for a while (except for the finale thing)

Hopefully the finale sells well on blu though and they bring out the rest of the show.

save ur money and pretend the series ended after 1 season, dont get all invested in the characters as the ending of the series sucks

That's not what this thread is about, but since it was mentioned: the series was great ... all 4 seasons. The ending was perfect.

I also agree that all 4 seasons were good. The last season you could tell they were trying to do too much but the last episode and the 'Final Break' were just awesome.

Great series and they ended it at the right time.

Looks like it's scheduled to release on July 21st. Has something changed? Amazon has it listed for then.

I, too, am a bit annoyed that Season 2 is missing. I do have Seasons 1 & 3 and will get Season 4 in July. But I am waiting on watching them until I have the full set.

That is the finale, which is also going to be on FOX i believe.

Sadly i dont think they are going to release season 2 or 4. Some members have mentioned that the saled from 1 and 3 were not enough that FOX felt like releasing the rest of the seasons. I agree a strong selling for the Finale would maybe get them to do it though.

I know i hate having only a few season on blu. I dont own the others on DVD and wont buy them either. Many series are like this though. Look at lost, sopranos, CSI and even 24. They arent starting at season 1 and working their way up, they are jumping in with later seasons to start. I dont like that because i dont like buying without knowing the rest will come. I am sure 24 will and lost and sopranos will too. But others not so sure about.

I liked the show and watched it till the end but I couldn't help but think during season 4 that they had jumped the shark. And then came along a scene where Micheal rigged a bomb out of a mini-fridge (a.k.a. nuked the fridge). OMG I was laughing so hard, that must have been an in joke with the writers/creators!

Well I have seen the 'Final Break' and its just a piss take where they invite practically all the old cast members back including one dead one just for a laugh. It really adds absolutely zero to season for and the show as a whole.

I believe The Final Break was done to tie up a few loose ends they had planted in case the show was picked up for season 5. Sure, it wasn't really necessary, as the season 4 finale ended things as definitively as you can get. But hey, you won't find me complaining about getting a bonus adventure. I love the characters.

As for the missing seasons on blu, I think we're gonna have to be patient. They'll play catch-up and fill in the holes eventually, but I doubt it's a priority. Especially now that the show is off the air.
