Cool movie. This was part of what started my horror movie fetish when I was younger. Just grabbed everything with an 18 rating at the local video store and got the crap scared out of me.

I'd disagree on this title. The original has a flavor of hitchcock in it and is definitely a moody and creepy little thriller -- well acted too.

The 2nd and 3rd films are fairly generic slasher flicks.

Bride of Chucky was a hilarious satire of the series and slasher flicks in general. Seed of Chucky was an uneven attempt at a Hollywood satire that mostly falls flat on its face.

Surprised this one is coming in the fall, considering there's a remake from the original creator in the works for a 2010 release, one would think they'd try to tie in on that.

"Chucky’s Thoughts", "The Advantages of Being Chucky", "Chucky on Filmmaking" and "Up Close and Personal with Chucky" are part of the select scene Chucky commentaries. "The Birth of Chucky", "Creating the Horror" and "Unleashed - Chucky: Building a Nightmare" are part of the "Evil Comes in Small Packages" making of documentary. And "Chucky’s Back *****es", "Designer Toy" and "Evil Comes in Little Packages" are the names of the easter eggs found on the dvd. So, no new special features for the blu-ray.

No surprise there. They just ported over the extras from the most recent DVD release.
