Hello Jay.

Welcome to Blu-ray.com HTG Thread.

I do concur with the other members that have complimented your setup. You do have nice components (I think)
Your TV look s sweet, nice curved design. Klipsch Reference Speakers, an often selected speaker array amongst the HTG brethren. Is that an Onkyo AVR? In other words, a component listing would be appreciated.

Now, for the critique,..... while you are on the site, I do suggest that you visit the gallery section and do a random search of "Flat Panel" setups. There will be a common theme,.... the concealment of cables. I know you have an open rack and it can be a challenge to conceal your cables, but with effort, it can be done.
Now many have lowboy stands/credenza's that help conceal the snake pits that reside behind them. But even then, most do make an effort to at least quasi arrange the cables for easier navigation in case of component upgrade or change out. On the other hand, there are plenty examples of those with open rack designs that have more extensive setups (more components) that have successfully managed to conceal the cables.
As I stated in your gallery comments, you have a nice setup (a "9" or "10" waiting to happen), but cable management is conducive/paramount to achieving a clean, finished and well organized look and will be instrumental in receiving favorable ratings. (That's if you care about ratings)

If you need suggestions as to how to achieve cable management Ch'i, there are plenty of us that can assist. There are some for-real cable mangaement gurus in the HTG threads.

Thanks for the tips. I still need to list my equipment in the gallery section. But yes that is an Onkyo 757 receiver. Currently I have the Pioneer atmos modules, and that's my next upgrade. I want to replace those with the klipsch modules.
And yes whatever tips anyone has for wire management would be appreciated.

I have a similar stand, with the amount of components the mess of wires is a never ending battle. Two weeks ago I bought some acrylic sheets, cut them to the size of the back of the stand (one per side) and cut a few holes to route the cables through. I then painted them black. It made a tremendous difference. I have $25 in the sheets of acrylic and paint.

I'll post some updated pics to my HT Gallery soon, my receiver died so my cables are currently all over the place due to having to run cables from each device to the TV.
