Default how do speakers get wrecked?
The only thing that I know of that will wreck speakers is turning them up to the point of distortion. I have not done this ever as I enjoy having 100% of my hearing.

Can you mess up your speakers by putting low quality audio through the like say Tiger Heli or Double Dragon from the Nintendo days, or does that have to be to the point of distortion too.

I read in a magazine that speakers are the last thing you should buy extended warranties on.
