Default Pioneer VSX-919H-K

I have a few questions about this receiver.

1. Will it convert analog video to HDMI?

2. Does it support 24p content?

After doing some digging, the answer to my first question is yes.

However, I still don't know about the 24p content. Will any receiver do this whether it be HDMI repeater, switcher, or passthrough? The receiver shouldn't mess with the 1080p signal coming from my blu-ray player, right?

Your receiver won't alter the video frame rate delivered by your HDMI source.

So can anyone that either has a 6.1 or 7.1 setup confirm that a movie with either DTS-HD Master 5.1 or PCM 5.1 can matrix to the back surround speakers? I ask because mine wont matrix either DTS-HD Master 5.1 or PCM 5.1 and only those two audio formats, they just wont play on the back surrounds you only hear the 5.1 and thats it.

Will this receiver display the HD audio format being decoded in the display screen on the receiver while playing a blu ray? If so, will it show the HD audio during the entire movie or will it convert back to the 'BD' on the display? I'm curious as I'd like to know that its decoding the proper audio during the movie. Thanks.
