[Blu As Hell]

This is a must have movie in itself, and now that I have it on Blu-Ray makes life a little bit better.

Let's start off with PQ: For a movie that's 10 years old it looks great. With a AVC Mpeg 4 transfer it has the right amount of grain, and crispness that we've come to enjoy in a Blu-Ray.

Next up is audio: It has a PCM audio track, along with regular 5.1 DD and 5.1 DTS. The uncompressed track is truly jaw-dropping, the rumble from the explosions actually shook a couple of pictures of my wall.

Last on the list special features: Or the lack of. You only get a trailer and a action montage, but then again this is a Japanese release so the American one may have some goodies on it.

Now if you want to wait until August to get your hands on one be my guest, but if you want to take full advantage of sharing a Region code with Japan and want to get this movie almost three months early you won't be disappointed.

Go to play-asia.com and order you a copy!!!!!! Or wait for the U.S. to catch up and hope they use the same transfer and audio track on that one.
