Fast and Furious Freezing? - Blu-ray Forum

the new fast and furious movie i got it last night it freezes in two parts of the movie. Its not my blu ray player i have a ps3 does anyone else notice this did i get a bum disk. Out of the 200 blus i own this is the first to freeze

check the disc, sometimes new ones can have some residue on them.

this happened to me with the Baraka disc but that was due to the crap cardboard case leaving a residue that I had to wash off with soap

I would exchange the movie.

i ckd the disc it looks clean i think its just weird. i know ive gotten scratched ones that i took back bc they were scratched when i got them. i was just asking other members to see if this was an issue with all of them or just the fact i got a bum disc

Hey man, does this movie have a slip cover? No one ever answered my question on the other thread. I'm still waiting for mine from Amazon.

Sounds like another faulty disc from Universal. Try wiping it down with a lint-free cloth, but if it still freezes I would exchange it immediately.

Something funny is going on at whatever plant Universal manufacturers their Blu-rays in - quite a few bad batches are getting out. Some random reports here and there of freezes with Doomsday, Hellboy II, King Kong, Bourne Identity, and Wanted, and fairly significant problems with Serenity and Death Race where a lot of people were reporting it.

Hopefully you just have an isolated case, and more people won't start reporting Fast & Furious problems.

if u get the rental one and the rental play fine just swap them know one will know u keep the rental and send the defect dis back with the renal case or envelope i have done it several times and no prob they can't blame u for nething
