Default Help What Is This???

Have you ever been to a coffee shop or restaurant & they have TV there that is streaming both a show & advertisments at the same time? like a border around a show thats advertising???? i need to do this in an install, can someone please let me know what this is & how to do it lol thanks alot!

Can you post a link to an example on YouTube? I think I know what you are talking about (don't watch television, only movies) and if I see what it is you are talking about, I probably can help you.

i would post a link but i dont know what it is lol next time i go to my applebees ill take a pic..........its just an advertisement that is bordering the actual show. SO it must be running through a computer program or something.......its kinda like watching commercials but the commercials are playing while the show is still on....?????????

Most of those places have feeds from a satellite. I can't remember the details, but all it is is a mask over another program. Not sure if things changed since this was over 5 years ago that I helped solution something similar.

I'm drawing a huge blank and all my work files are lost since my network backup got deleted by accident. I had almost 10 years of files lost. They deleted the wrong user and by the time I noticed, they did not have the backup of that drive any longer.

Anyway, you will probably need to get in touch with a satellite company like Hughes or GlobeSat or GlobeComm. I also know 7-11 is a huge user of this. We emulated the 7-11 design.
