Default Opinions Of Patrick Swayze's Best Overall Movie/Performance??

In dedication to Patrick Swayze I would like to know your opinions of his best work!! Patrick has been in alot of movies and it should be interesting to see what some of us feel his best work is! I enjoyed his show "The Beast" earlier this year and was looking forward to another season, however we knew the man was battling a big disease!! R.I.P. Patrick Swayze! My thoughts:

Best Movie/Performance: "Ghost"

Favorite: "Ghost" & "Roadhouse"

Least: "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything"

Got Em!!

Well, Point Break was basically tailor-made for the man. It basically showed off all his talents as a stunt man/actor/action star. The only thing he didnt do was dance. Even his character, Brody, had the same conservationist views he had. I think this was his finest hour.

For me the best one was Roadhouse, a very cool movie. Love watching it when I want to kick someone's butt.

Don't flame me on this but I tought Too Wong Fu was a funny movie, not the greatest movie ever but it as it's moment.

The Outsiders was the first film I recall seeing him in. Although not a main lead in the film he had a strong presence. Red Dawn is another that I thought he was sensational in, especially the end when he's carrying his brother, a very strong scene in my opinion.
I really liked Youngblood and once again Patrick was excellent in his performance.

I would have to go with Red Dawn and The Outsiders as my two favorites. I think most of his films he did a great job, even Next of Kin.

Patrick was a true Hollywood star who never had any ego issues like what we have nowadays with these young actors.
It's to bad that someone has to pass away in-order to go back and really appreciate all that they've done.
He will be missed.

Dude a lot of the old-time actors had greater egos than anyone today.

I'll vote for Roadhouse.

My personal favorites would be Outsiders and Point Break.

While I didn't enjoy it personally, I would have to vote for Ghost being his best performance.

I agree with you 100%. Even though it played off a number of stereotypes it was still a very cute movie. I liked it the first time I saw it (though I had reservations) and can still see it again.
