Default Two And Half Men DVD's

I've stuck this under General Discussion since this question doesn't apply to blu-ray discs.

I'm looking for confirmation from anyone who has some of the DVD's of the hit show " TWO AND HALF MEN " as to whether they are 16 by 9 widescreen. Will they fill the entire screen of my HDTV or will they display black bars as is the of a non-anamorphic DVD ???

The back of each DVD season set refers to them as being " MATTED ". I'm not entirely sure what that means but it also says they are enhanced for widescreen TV's which means they are indeed 16 by 9 presentations.

Comments appreciated
