Which ones to blind buy???

Blockbuster in my area is going out of business and ive noticed some of the
ps3 games that are left looked priced to sell, but i dont know what ones to blind buy

Fallout 3 for $25
Star Wars the force unleashed for $17
Far Cry 2 for $18
Ghostbusters for $40
Resistance 2 for $25
Also theres a blu ray player called Sylvania NB501sl9 for 139.00 (GOOD FOR BEDROOM????)

Which ones are worth buying and
Also are these good prices????

Ghostbusters is actually cheaper brand new
$20 at game crazy I believe
and $30 at gamestop

as for the sylvania player..expensive if it were used..you can get cheaper new afik..

as for blind buy
resistance 2 at that price..GREAT DEAL

I was very hesitant about fallout at first, but after it went on sale I grabbed a copy and loved it. Right up there with Bioshock imho in terms of atmosphere and story.

Anyway... Forces Unleashed 'Sith edition' comes out pretty soon, so it may be worth waiting for that. Resistance 2 is good and worth that price on a blind buy too I'd say.

I would steer clear of Farcry2 though. I got it for free with my PC video card and spent 2 hours playing before I gave up... that time involved 20 minutes actually doing stuff and an hour and 40 minutes driving around the freaking island. Way too much 'go from point a to point b' for a sandbox game imho.

Nowadays, BioShock is $20, and it's a great game to add to your library.

Resistance 2, I know some fans are disappointed, but I actually think it's a fantastic shooter and I highly recommend it.

Don't buy that player. You will be able to get a really good BD player from a major manufacturer on Black Friday for less than $100.

Thanks for your input guys i was thinking resistance 2 too! Im weary on fallout 3 though

I would say probably Fallout 3 & Resistance are your best bets. Force Unleashed was fun but its extremely easy and you'll probably blow through it really quick, but that is a really great price for it unless you want to buy the Sith Edition that just came out that has a few more levels in it. Ghostbuster is fun to play through once, I would say it's worth more of a rent than a buy. I borrowed it from a friend and was greatly dissappointed with it. I have never played any of the Far Cry games to be able to give an opinion on it.

I agree with this, Bioshock is one of the best games this generation, pick that up if you don't have it.

All of those are good, with the exception of Ghostbusters since the PS3 version was botched compared to the 360. Assuming they are all new, then it depends on what type of games you like to play.

Fallout 3 is a tactical RPG, lots of people have spent over 100 hours on this game, not to mention there are around 5 eps of DLC, adding even more hours. However, since Bethesda hates the PS3 for some reason, it's pretty buggy, and most of it has been patched now (except for some newer DLC and GOTY version). PC may be a better choice for this though.

SW: Force Unleashed. I would say get the Sith Edition. It's the complete game with exclusive new content, plus a collector's card. It's only $40 new AND it's a steelbook.

Farcy 2 is an action/shooting game, and it has a very very very large map. Sorta fun if you like hiding and shooting in jungles, although can get boring after a while. if you're going for trophies it's really hard to 100%.

Resistance 2 is a decent shooter, really good for co-op multiplayer. Personally I didn't like it that much, but that's just me. A lot of people seemed to like it.

As for the bluray player.. go with what other people here have said.

Fallout3, Farcry2, and Resistance2 are at pretty good prices.
