What can the HD DVD camp say when they see something like this. This is not just a good movie, it is significant to this time period, and the release is filled to the brim with goodies. I am putting this on the "must own" list.

Is is no longer available for preorder on this site either. Perhaps it will become available once again? I will preorder this movie as well now that it is suppose to be a phenomonal BD. I agree SS316SRV. How can HD-DVD compete?

Strange. I just pre-ordered it yesterday and it is still listed in my order history with a November 23 expected delivery date, but you're right--no longer in the system it seems. We'll see if I get any kind of notification.

Never saw or heard of this movie before I read about it on this site, but if it has Christian Bale in it, it must be good.

You know I love christian bale and all, but i've never heard of this(yes I live in a cave). was it good, how well did it do? Either way I can't wait.

It did not light up the box offices but it did do very very well with critics. It is the true story of a successfull escape by American POWs in Vietnam during the war.

Actually most of my favorite movies are not box office hits. I was just wondering if it would be a significant sell for bd vs hddvd.

Should be a great seller because it was a powerful, poignant, and overall good movie.
