I got this game coming on Friday....saw some commercials, and thought I'd check it out. Never really got into snowboarding games, although I played a small bit of Coolboarders back in the day...

Thoughts on this?

Horrible... It's just terrible. The snowboarding doesn't feel like snowboarding at all. I've been waiting for a great game of snowboarding since the SSX series.

I'm going to have to agree that this game sucks. I snowboard in real life and this game feels like you're floating in the air. Nothing like real life. I too have been waiting for a sequel to the SSX games. Although they weren't realistics, the feel of the snowboarding was just amazing.

The Wii version with the Wii Fit board is great. It seems the X360/PS3 crowds got the awful version. Well, 9 times out of ten the HD consoles get the upper hand anyways. I tried playing it on PS3 and I couldn't for the life of me figure out the controls. Bad game.

The game isn't awful or unplayable, it's just not a great game in terms of the feel of snowboarding. I've also been waiting for a SSX title, but not sure we'll ever see another one, fingers crossed.

Shaun will fall a lot going down the hill, and for no reason, and yes he feels like he's floating and not digging into the snow. The mountains and enviorment are good though.
The best part of the game is online with snowballs. If you didn't pay to much for the game I don't think you'll be upset with your purchase.

I'm waiting for a SSX title to. I may even rebuy a PS2 just to play the old SSX games.
