"The Copyright Protection Information Is Invalid. (80029513)" ???? - Blu-ray Forum

So I downloaded the addon for Savage Moon, and downloaded and installed it.

When I went to start up the game, it brings up the "update has been found" thing. So I click to update it and when it finishes it brings up the error message: "The Copyright Protection Information Is Invalid. (80029513)"

What's up with that?

I don't have multiple PS3's, both the game + the addon were purchased with the same account.

whew, okay I got that taken care of.

I deleted the game but NOT the gamesave.

I redownloaded the game, then redownloaded the unlock key. Started it just to make sure everything was copacetic, and then I exited out, went and redownloaded the addon.

Everything worked perfectly this time.

Not sure what the problem was, but hopefully no one else has to go through that. lol

Well, I don't have precisely the same problem, but I also bought the Savage Moon DLC and after installing it my game became a trial version and now I can't play the normal or DLC maps...

do the same thing I did, and hopefully that will fix your problem.

1. Delete the game (but NOT the gamesaves).

2. Redownload and install the demo

3. Redownload and install the unlock key

4. Run the game, make sure it's listed as a full game. You should see a scrolling message at the top referring to the DLC Map.

5. Exit out of the game and if that's all right, go and redownload the addon.

6. Start up the game and hopefully everything is right.
