The Killing seasons one through three are coming out in a box set, from Mediumrare Entertainment (separate releases of seasons 2 & 3 will be available also).

Release date is (edit) September 1, 2014

Edit: Unfortunately, Amazon UK has just sent an email saying the release date has been pushed back to September 1.

nice one... didn't bother picking up season 1 when they stopped releasing them, think i'll bite this time, or wait for the inevitable complete series boxset, not sure if that will work since netflix is doing the final season

Yeah who knows if a complete series boxset might happen. Orange is the New Black (an original Netflix show) got a blu ray release by Lionsgate in the UK. So if the last season (4) does get a blu ray release it might be from Lionsgate also. I would be happy if anyone released season 4 on blu ray at all though.

No idea, they seem independent. They have very few releases so far. I hope they release decent or good quality blu rays for this though. I googled them and their page is very basic. I think they might barely be starting out.

I've never liked the name Medium Rare. I prefer my Blu-rays to be Well Done.

I've got season one from FOX. I think I paid £4.99 for that.

I held of buying season 1 as they did not release seasons 2 or 3.

It is a shame season 4 will not be included in the set as that will be finished airing on netflix around the time of this release, if not earlier.

Haven't they said S4 is the final season ?
If so will just wait for the complete boxset. The S2 and S3 prices are very high as think I only paid around£12 for the UK Fox release of S1

S4 has been announced to be the show's last season, though it will only be (initially) available through Netflix.

Will be picking these up. One show I never thought would get completed on BD. Hopefully they release season 4 at some point.

Unless the show gets repackaged early for the Christmas rush to include season 4, I'm thinking early to mid 2015 for Season 4.

Sounds right. It seems like this is a small label releasing them so hopefully they expect limited sales. Would upset me if they scrapped season 4 due to low sales numbers. It isn't the most popular show. I'd be upset if only the first three seasons got released. It ended beautifully.

I'm sure they will release a complete set next year. In the UK these (the story so far) sets are common each season. Misfits had a 1-3 set released prior to season 4. Many other shows as well. In the case of misfits I had no interest in s4 so the 3pack was good for me.
