i cant use hdmi from ps3 to receiver to projector - Blu-ray Forum

hi ,everyone please help. I have denon avr 4806 when I use hdmi from ps3 to receiver to epson 6500 , I dont get any picture and sound at all ,but went i use sony vw50 i am able to use it. is it because the 6500 using deep color 1.3 ?

trust me, youre not using deep color.

have you used that receiver before, and is known to work ok?

what is the distance being used in each scenario?

i just went to frys got a hdmi splittle and it work , but i missing deep color 13 bit in my 6500 , i got sound pcm in my receiver. i dont know what to do . if i get pcm hdim in sound i will lose deep color 13 bit .and it work with other projector and tv with out deep color.

Nothing is using deep color right now.

Unless you have a camcorder with deep color?

Otherwise, Blurays do not use deep color.

It is not a deep colour issue. Have you checked PS3 direct to 6500 via HDMI. If that doesn't work it could be 6500 problem.

have you tried turning 1080p/24 HZ = Off in the PS3?
