Default Trick R Treat 10/6, Orphan 10/27, The Final Destination 12/22

From Bloody Disgusting:

Bloody-Disgusting got word this afternoon that Warner Home Video has finally given Michael Dougherty's highly anticipated Trick 'r Treat (review, set visit) a tentative Blu-ray and DVD release date for October 6th. The studio is already looking forward as we're being told that Orphan will arrive on October 27th, while The Final Destination will hit retailers just in time for the holidays on December 22. These dates are tentative. Click any title above for more info on each film.

I might get The Final Destination if it's good when I check it out when it comes out at theaters.

I wonder why the 2nd or 3rd does not have a release date yet, and the last one has already been announced?

It's possible that the 2nd and 3rd will be announced for the same day. Maybe even a 4 movie set.

Can't wait for Trick R Treat. Find it funny that there is already a date for a movie that hasn't even made it to theaters yet.

While I really want to see Trick r' Treat, I am not going to hold my breath. This thing has been held off for the longest time. Usually when there is this much hype surrounding a movie, I end up being disappointed as it will never be as good as everyone else is saying it is. At least it is supposed to come out early October.

I KNOW!!! Every time I expect to love a movie, I'm disappointed. Usually it's the movies that I expect to hate that end up being really good. It seems like if I have low expectations for a film, it's that much better when it ends up being at all good.

Trick R Treat was screwed over by studio politics, and should have been in theaters two years ago.
I caught it at a showing in Orlando a while back, and every single person that I spoke to after loved it (and from reading around the web this was the general response at every showing)
It really does have an old school horror feel to it that is badly needed these days.

I believe he was talking about The Final Destination. Yet to come out in theaters and they're already planning it's blu-ray date.

Though I could be wrong. It's been known to happen.

Ah gotcha.
Actually Final Destination was also pushed back due to some reshoots too, it is smart of them to try and hit the Halloween market at home.
I kind of feel that it is being sent to die in the theater anyway.

Got to see a screening of it at Comic Con last month. Really enjoyed it.

I loved Orphan. Great movie. Can't wait.

And if that Trick R Treat clip on the F13 blu-ray is any indicator, it will be awesome.
