Thumbs up InFamous & Fallout 3

I will most likely own both but for now i just want one so i can give it the proper time.

InFamous is newer but i havent played fallout 3 yet either so its new to me also. I like both styles of game so its just a matter of which did you like better? I see infamous has some replay value with being good and evil.
does fallout 3? i hear fallout 3 is a great game...but no DLC and when the game is over you cant go back and do anything you start from scratch again?
is there anything different with the 360 version (if anyone knows?) And isnt there a new edition coming with all the DLC for ps3?

Sorry if this question has been asked a million times and thanks for any suggestions.

havnt played Fallout 3 ( i never got it because i've heard that the PS3 version is inferior to the 360 version so im not gonna support it) but i love inFamous, i played through it on Good and Evil on hard mode and was glad i bought it

Both are great games. I would start with Infamous as its an exclusive and I like to support companies making good exclusives. Very fun game to play, really makes you feel like you are there.

That being said Fallout 3 will occupy much more of your time. Infamous doesn't take too long to play through, even if you are trying for the Platinum trophy.

DLC for Fallout 3 was rumored for this month on PS3 and a GOTY edition in the fall that would include all the new d/ content (3 packs I believe), but I am not sure if this has been pushed back or not.

I've played and Platinumed both and ultimately I liked Fallout 3 much more. The missions in Fallout 3 are much more diverse and just flow better in general. In Infamous the side missions can feel a bit repetitive. Also, the difference between Good and Evil in Infamous in reality doesnt change the storyline much at all. By the time I was done with Infamous I didn't want to play it again ever. With Fallout 3, I am eagerly waiting the DLC and would play the game all over again if there wasnt DLC.

BTW personally I would wait for the Fallout 3 GOTY edition disc later this year. Although if you want a game right now that doesn't help you. You can get the single disc of Fallout 3 relatively cheap used now though.

Also, these two games in reality aren't really comparable. Fallout 3 is 10x more of a sandbox/WRPG game than Infamous is. TBH I don't really classify Infamous as sandbox at all.

I have platinum for both games and would say Fallout 3 is the more involving game. DLC for Fallout 3 is on its way. I think its in the testing phase. Infamous has a great story and great fun to play both as good and evil. I would just get both.

I've also played both and would prefer Fallout 3. Infamous is fun but once you beat it on good and evil there's really no reason to play it again.

i have fallout 3 and beat it...when it ends its over...NO dlc...no more game just start back over after all your work...

ITS fun its a awesome game i have the collectors edition...(sale at meijer)

But i was too wondering about the DLC for the ps3....I also have a 360 and would like to play...theres like 3 things of DLC right now!!!!! one where you go up on a space ship above the world!!!

And is it true on the 360 version after the game is complete you can keep going and doing side missions etc???

I am tempted to buy the 360 version...I would check out everything and if you have both systems...make sure you get it for the one with the DLC!!!!
seems like the creators of fallout 3 love the 360 better i'm guessing...or there money.

I own both versions of Fallout 3. While the 360 you can continue on, if you have the DLC, this will soon be coming to the PS3 as well.

I would wait though for the Game of the Year edition on the PS3 as it will include all the DLC. The DLC will be $9.99 per episode.

I've played the game 4 complete times and absolutely loved every play through. You can do things so many different ways and there is so much to explore. Replay value on Fallout 3 is extremely high IMHO.

I plattied Infamous in 3 days and like it was said before, I have no desire to play it again. The side missions are really the same, over and over again.

The reason I have it on the PS3 and the 360 is because the 360 version kept freezing on me, more so than the Force Unleashed ever froze my 360.

Firstly, if you want to "continue" your game after beating the main quest all you have to do is reload your last save (assuming you have a save file from before the "point of no return). There is a ton more to do than just the main quest in this game.

Secondly, all the DLC is coming to the PS3 version of FO3 later this year. Like has been recommended, I would wait to get the FO3 GOTY edition which is supposed to be available for sale this holiday season. One of the DLC extensions allows you to continue your finished game.
