Default Sony releases?

Why is Sony slow to release their mother on blu ray? The reason i ask is because they have movies on HDNet showing all the time.

I guess my point is, is that if they are remastered for HD for TV, I am sure that they throw out a Blu-ray. I just think that Sony can throw a little more titles out without looking like Universal.

Alot of stuff isn't even mastered for hd on cable, they upconvert to hd stock for the most part, a good upconverter can hide alot. HD cable doesn't look as nearly good as it should be obviously because of bandwith issues so they figure they can get away with it for now. I think sony has been doing a good job, we don't want titles rushed out like Universal has been doing with hd dvd cause then we get crap xfers
