onkyo 606 to a sony s360 HELP

I have a onkyo tx-sr606, just bought a sony bdp-s360. I cant for the life of me get any kind of surround sound out of my receiver. I have a hdmi cable running from the blue ray to the receiver then from the receiver to my samsung 67 led dlp. Now, if i put in a reg dvd in i have no problems getting dolby digital or dts.
I am new to the whole blu ray and hdmi receivers so please take it easy on me. Any help would be great, thanks

I think you should provide more info about how u got it set up. You using all hdmi cables? from AV to TV. what do you have hooked up on bdp-s360, just hdmi? or optical too? did you push the input selector on your 606 for hdmi sound?
