2entertain/BBC will release the new Series 21 Top Gear Burma special on 2 June.

Recently down to a quite reasonable pre-order price of £11.75.

This seems to have gotten quite good reviews. I delibrately did not watch it, since I am waiting for this Blu-ray.

It looks like this release will be the longest Top Gear special in recent times. The "Director's Cut" clocks in at 135 minutes, which is over 20 minutes longer than the Africa special BD:

It looks like these will be the only extras of note, though.

Still, hard to go wrong for £11.75.

Confirmation:

This disc is not region-locked, but the main feature (and in fact the entire disc) is presented in 1080/50i, which means that those wishing to view it in North America will need to own equipment capable of displaying 50Hz material.

Video extras include a behind-the-scenes compilation (19:51) which can be played all together or individually, and a silent photo gallery (2:02), as well as two adverts for the Top Gear: Race the Stig mobile game (1:38).

Additionally, a main menu option labelled "Wallpapers" informs those with BD-ROM drives that the disc contains JPEG format wallpapers to download, and indeed, the "WALLPAPERS" folder on the disc does contain four JPEG wallpapers.

Another great Top Gear BD from 2entertain for the BBC.

EDIT: Note that the infamous "slope" comment has been removed from this video release, and some of the music has apparently been changed, which was somewhat obvious to me, despite my not having seen the broadcast version.
