The only thing I remember about it is a bit where the killer is slowly heading up the stairs after a victim. It's all seen through his eyes as he slowly climbs and climbs. On the soundtrack all you hear is the sound of footsteps and his breathing, getting heavier and heavier as he nears his mark.

Then a voice-over says, "These stairs are killing me".

(Well, it made me laugh then!)

None of the early 80s slasher-spoofs were very funny. I remember Pandemonium, and National Lampoons Class Reunion too.

Its out on dvd but hard to find. A few friends and I watched Student Bodies together and after it was done, I realized I hadnt laughed once. Sad.

My cousins and I saw it on tv one thanksgiving and couldnt stop laughing.

That retarded janitor Malbert was hillarious. "Malbert sometimes pee red"

Years later we rented it and laughed just as much. However I would expect watching it nowadays would not be the same.

I bought this when it came out on dvd earlier this year. Sadly, it didn't hold up as well as it did when I first saw it being 17. Still fun though.

Harder to find it on dvd than a pot of gold. Doubt it will ever go to blu-ray.

First half hour is a classic, kind of went down hill at end. Still worth seeing!!!

You don't need family

You don't need friends

All you need are horsehead bookends!

Most of them were incredibly bad on a 70's-sitcom level (and that especially includes a young first-time John Hughes on "Class Reunion"), but SB at least had occasional lines coming out of its low-budget nowhere...
Not like seeing "Kentucky Fried Movie" for the first time, but near enough to the general ballpark.

"Ladies and gentlemen, in order to achieve an "R" rating today, a motion picture must contain full frontal nudity, graphic violence, or an explicit reference to the sex act. Since this film has none of those, and since research has proven that R-rated films are by far the most popular with the moviegoing public, the producers of this motion picture have asked me to take this opportunity to say "F**k you."
(This Film Has been Rated -R- By the MPAA)"

I saw it on cable not that long ago, it was still pretty funny.

Off topic, but does anybody remember Up The Academy, that was another great 80's comedy.

I'd rather watch the Non-Musical Version of "Grease".

(And can't we have an end to these senseless killings?--Let's have some killings that make sense!)
